Don’t Slit Your Wrists for Me - Oysterband
And I wouldn’t say I couldn’t be a lover
Not if there was nothing else to be
But if love is what you’re dying to discover
Darling
Don’t slit your wrists for me

In my defence, I was very tired and not thinking clearly
Ooh, that’s actually a very good question. Mainly because my first thought would be to adapt more of the manga, but of course the two were so different that it would never be that simple.
As much as I like the manga, I think I’d like the anime to remain in a similar vein as how it was. We already have the manga, after all! They managed to get a good balance with the humour, imo, there was always plenty to do for Asaka or the Suzukaze Combo to do even if the anime wasn’t as focused on the comedy.
At the end of the show, we started to see Sora opening up more, so it might be interesting to see how that progresses. One aspect from the manga that could be used is how side characters get a bit more screen time. It’d be good to see the supporting cast get a bigger role, as there’s definitely a lot that can be done with them. That’s probably the main thing I’d like to see actually, Sketchbook has a great ensemble.
As for characters… does Asakura count as manga-exclusive? She should be in more than just a 2 second cameo! Also it would be great seeing Shibata, Ueno and Sora’s two friends (which could tie into her opening up, I guess), if the scenario is right. I’m probably forgetting someone.
Also obligatory Scorebook cameo.
But not as much as I like how I only had to spend £2 extra to get first class tickets that came with free wifi
Please don’t ask me how they only cost £2 more, I’m convinced I’m now part of some big scam and sometime soon I’ll get rushed by the riot squad
a friend came round to help me revise and forgot to log out of her facebook on my laptop so I’ve spent the last 20 minutes devoting her facebook to trains.
I’ve also got the middle name “ILikeTrains” pending and have joined 50 “I love trains” groups.
